Tummy Trouble Massage Kit
$32.00

Availability: Ships within 2 days

Babies can have such a hard time with their tummies. They may be gassy or constipated or develop a case of colic. Stroking on the tummy has been found to be helpful to reduce these discomforts.

Linda Storm, a trainer with the International Association of Infant Massage, has designed a kit to help parents learn a fun way to relieve tummy discomfort.

During her classes, Linda teaches parents and instructors strokes on the baby’s stomach, which help to alleviate colic, gas, and constipation. When a baby is especially gassy or colicky, we do a routine. To help comfort the baby during this routine, Linda teaches the parents and instructors to sing the “Skid A Ma Rink” song. The singing seems to calm and distract the baby while doing the strokes, which in turn seems to help digestive problems. Many parents have asked where they could get the song and the creeper that diagrams the tummy strokes worn by the demonstration doll.

In answer to their requests, Linda has developed a kit called Tummy Trouble. The kit includes:

- A pamphlet with step-by-step instructions for three tummy strokes and words to the “Skid A Ma Rink” song and the corresponding hand movements

- A printed creeper for the infant to wear which illustrates the path of the strokes

- A CD with the song “Skid A Ma Rink”, detailed verbal directions to learn the massage strokes, then putting the strokes with the song

What Moms Are Saying...

“I was surprised! When we started to sing and use the massage techniques, Katherine stopped crying immediately! That evening she a bowel movement after being constipated for two days!” ~ Emma of Washington D.C.

“Dylan began crying before class because he seemed uncomfortable due to gas. He cried while we sang the song the first time. By the time we sang the song through the second time, he passed the gas, stopped crying, and relaxed. I was thrilled with how he responded!” ~ Angela of Winston-Salem, N.C.
